Vicky! Thanks so much so commenting here. I’m so pleased you like The Dowser Series!! You made my morning 😃

I just finished a draft of The Oracle #1. It’s set in the same universe as the Dowser Series but with a different narrator. We get a glimpse of Jade from a different POV. I’m also halfway through writing Dowser 4.

You should see an update in your inbox in October.

      Thanks!

    • March 6, 2015 11:46 AM

Hi Karla! I try to keep my about page updated with the progress of each of the series. I’m currently writing Dowser 5, when it goes to the editor I will write Oracle 2, then Dowser 6. I’m trying to publish every three to four months but sometimes the editor’s or proofreader’s or formatter’s schedules slow me down a bit. Glad you want more!!

So glad you like it! I’m working on Dowser 5 right now.

We are totally addicted to your cupcake stories please keep them coming I need Jade, Warren, Kandy fix please lol hugs!

  17. March 26, 2015 9:22 AM

    Hugs!
we are very addicted to the dowser series!,

I referred you to my mother in-law we both read the same books and talk about them,

I told her she is right up there with Kelly Armstrong and Kim Harrison.. She is a must read.

The chars catch you and by the time you reach Warren’s intro you are hooked and want not only back stories to read but look forward to see the story line go another 10 or more books.

Plus I have not given up hope on her and Mr Mcfluffy getting together lol! The chemistry is still there and when she brought Kandy to the pack for help we were rooting for a kiss between them after all he woke up to see her…evil grin..lol…hehehe!

  18. March 26, 2015 9:49 AM

💞💞💞 I’m a fan of Kelly Armstrong’s Otherworld series. And she’s a fellow Canadian! I’m seriously flattered to be ranked alongside her and Ms. Harrison! Thank you. 💞💞💞 As for McGrowly … Well, only time will tell. My lips are sealed and I wish I could write faster. 😃

I started using dragon speak once it gets to know your voice it does help, it still has a few flubs but there easy to correct and is really great when your to tired to type..wonderful to use when tossing ideas and thoughts out too! hugs and do not stress writing takes time!

    • March 27, 2015 4:10 PM

I tried Dragon Speak, but it just doesn’t work great for me. It hates the word witch (which) etc. Which really slows everything down when writing urban fantasy 😉 but I always have it as an option if my shoulder or wrist goes out. 😀

  21. March 28, 2015 2:44 PM

shoulder issues two old goats lotion best stuff on earth. Its all natural and it really really works.. yeah when your first starting dragon speak you almost have to spend a few days doing the ABC’s and reading the newspaper to it..lol! Would be great if they gave us the option for which witch to choose.. hehehe!

    Hugs!

    • March 28, 2015 4:14 PM

I have the shoulder pretty under control and not enough patience for DS. LOL Though I’m always careful to leave my options open when it comes to work, or being able to produce. 😀

I have finished the first 3 Dowser books which I love. I read that it is better to read I See Me before the 4th book. At first I didn’t understand why but now I’m far enough into the book to understand why. This book really surprised me. Rochelle is so different. I’m looking forward to finishing it so see how things go. These books are all great. I love your witch characters. My favorite characters
    are Kandy and the Vampire.
Thanks for all the reading enjoyment.

    • May 22, 2015 5:36 PM

Sandy – I’m glad you’re enjoying the Dowser and Oracle series. And, yes, Jade and Rochelle are exceedingly different. I’m about to launch fully into writing Oracle 2 and I’m really looking forward to it. Thank you for reading!

I have read and re-read the five Dowser Series Books and The Oracle #1. I eagerly await a new book in either series. I am totally obsessed and addicted to your writing. 3 weeks ago I had major spine surgery. Your books are helping me get through this challenging recovery. So, THANK YOU, for all you do to provide us with an amazing escape whenever we pick up one of your stories.
One of your biggest fans, Johanna

    • August 30, 2015 8:57 AM

Wow, Johanna! Major spine surgery is crazy. Any kind of spine surgery is crazy! I’m so, so glad I could provide you with some escapism/entertainment while you recover. And I hope you heal swiftly.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment here. You brightened my morning (it is finally raining here, which is good, but not as pretty).

Please let me know how your healing progresses. I’m writing Oracle 2 right now, then I’ll tackle Dowser 6.

    • October 13, 2015 12:14 PM

Not yet! I’m thinking of doing a series ‘bible’ after Dowser 6 (and Oracle 3) get released. Including character sketches, bios, background, recipes, maybe some short stories. But it would be a crazy amount of work, when I should be writing the next novel and I’d have to figure out a way that readers who purchase a copy can upload the newest versions every time it gets updated.

So I stumbled upon your first Dowser book from an Amazon promo a few days after its initial release. I fell in love. I adore baking and making new recipes and view the world in much the same way as Jade: Through my tastebuds. Fantasy is a genre I adore, and I’ve found very few series that embody my love for cooking and food, with a lead that I feel relates in such a realistic manner.

Since first devouring that book (in about 2 hours) I’ve signed up for updates on Amazon and virtually stalked your every release, having the books downloaded directly on my iPad and ready for consumption as soon as I have time. Sleepless nights? Check. Wonderful food? Check. Strong female lead? Check.

I can honestly say that your writing is wonderful, and has evolved into something even more spectacular since I started reading your works. You’re easily rated within my top ten authors along side Kenyon, Showalter, and Cole.

After each of your dowser books, I set out to replicate the cupcakes (but not quite, because I have issues with following recipes….) for my own personal delight. Many of the flavour combinations presented in the description of the ‘taste’ of people’s magic have served as inspiration for my own recipes, and that’s a wonderful thing.

    TL;DR

You’re great. Jade’s great. Cupcakes are the meaning of life. iStalkYou.

    • April 19, 2016 8:27 AM

LOL!! I’m so glad you have inspired your baking and entertained you at the same time. I absolutely adore writing Jade, so there will definitely be more books. Also I don’t follow recipes either. 😉

Did you get a welcome email? gmail sometimes put them in your promotions or spam folder. If you find the email in either of those boxes, drag it into your inbox so gmail knows you actually want to receive my emails. 🙂 The welcome email contains a picture of the cookbook, click on it, or the DOWNLOAD button below it, to download the PDF.
