MCD: Winter and Spring 2020

It’s that time of year again. Yes, time for the annual CULLING of my mailing list. Later today I will send a ‘reengagement’ email to anyone who hasn’t opened my last five emails. Therefore it’s also the perfect time to share my schedule and some TREATS (see ‘things of interest’ below) with everyone.

The upcoming CULLING – yes, I have to capitalize and bold it, otherwise it doesn’t sound as dastardly – is for my mailing list, not my blog subscribers. If you received this blog post in your inbox you’re subscribed to my blog. There was some confusion when I sent out the free download for Spirit Binder as a New Year treat to my mailing list. The blog subscription and the mailing list are two separate things. The blog is for news and giveaways. And I should be blogging once a week. The mailing list is for major announcements. And I should be sending out a newsletter about once a month. But I’m not very good about ‘shoulds’ anymore. 🙂

THINGS OF INTEREST

I have (finally, I know!) added an EXTRAS and FREEBIES page to my blog. Yay! Click the above link to download the current edition of the Adept Universe Cookbook, A Difficult Funeral (Dowser 1.5) – a bit of flash fiction that most of you probably haven’t read yet – The Graveyard Kiss (Reconstructionist 0.5), and Close to Home (Amplifier 0.5)(though most of you probably have it already because it’s also bundled with The Amplifier Protocol).

I’ve added the extras page because I’m going to be implementing an ‘onboarding’ sequence for new readers when they subscribe to my mailing list and I thought it would be easier to have all the downloads on one page.

At the bottom of the extras page, you will find a hint of what I’m working on for the Misfits of the Adept Universe. More news on that later!!

Mystics and Mental Blocks (Amplifier 3) is complete and just sitting in the queue to be uploaded to all retailers. Coming late January 2020.

CURRENTLY WRITING

While SFG (aka the editor) has Misfits 1 for story editing (aka developmental editing), I’m brainstorming Amplifier 4 and Misfits 2. The strongest idea will be written next. I’m also still kicking around the idea for the space opera trilogy.
