I don’t necessarily have a favourite quote because I love all of your books equally, but if I had to pick a sentence that is absolute perfection for describing the person in the story it is this one:
‘I preferred it when life came in tidy packages. When it didn’t- when something went awry – I was exceedingly skilled at packaging it back up.
I knew who Wisteria was going to be from the second I read these sentences.
Still not dark yet – Mory. Misplaced Souls. I love how much is said in those four little words. Her struggle, fear and fight for the future. Such a weighty sentence.

You ask the impossible! I would have to scour every book to decide on my favorite overall quote. One of the ones that come to mind first is from the first book:
I pulled my cell phone from my hoodie pocket and dialed my Gran’s number. Yeah, I was only a big girl to a certain point. Three werewolf murders, a near vampire attack, and my trinkets at the heart of it all? I needed my Gran. I got her voicemail, and left a “call me ASAP” message. I wasn’t sure how to articulate everything else before the beep.
I love seeing how much Jade has grown and come into her own.

That night, with the elves … thank you for using the centipede to take me down.” Haoxin touched her neck. “Rather than the silk ribbons.” Her gaze was remote and I was pretty sure she was remembering the vision ChiWen had shown her. Of her own death by strangulation.

I started reading at midnight. I’m ½ way through Archivist 0 and I’m not disappointed.
But, the best book of them all so far (and I’m bordering on obsessive with the Dowser Universe) – Amplifier 4, Idols and Enemies. It’s exciting and pretty funny, especially if you come from a big, blended family.

Meghan, it’s all your fault! I went looking for my favorite quote and I thought there was something in in Dowser 1 on the order of, “The vampire, however, was new.” Well, I’ve now reread Dowser 1, 1.5, and am well into 2 and still haven’t found that quote. 🙂 I’m enjoying the reading, though! And it’ll keep me busy until Archivist 1 comes out.

I love the way that you describe the way Jade tastes the magic. It is one of the things that sticks with me even now. That being said, I have to quote Doswer Series #1.
