Invoking Infinity: Amazon Monthly Deal

This is duplicate news if you got my newsletter last week (which has more info) but, just FYI, Invoking Infinity (Archivist 1) has been selected as an Amazon Monthly Deal (for Canada and the USA only) – eBook $0.99.

I pretty much never discount the second book in a series, so I doubt it will ever be available at this price again. So, if you’ve been hesitating to dig into the series, and you read on Kindle (or via the Kindle app) from Canada or the USA, here is your chance!

Reading order of the Archivist Series:

Or click here for the reading order of the Adept Universe, starting with Cupcakes, Trinkets, and Other Deadly Magic (Dowser 1) which is currently permafree!

*Just to reiterate.* I have no control over the price or the retailer or the countries included. Amazon asked if they could feature Invoking Infinity, and I said yes to try it out. They then set the parameters. It is disheartening that I have to explain that, and even sadder that I have to ask people to be kind about the choices I make for my career and to hopefully grow my readership. Please try to refrain from sending me nasty comments. But also, please share if you think your friends/family might be interested! Thank you! – MCD

  1. I usually buy all of your books on B&N, but this is such a good deal and I like the story so much that I bought it again. Just in case. Sort of like buying different editions of the same book. Because they’re different.

  2. Hi Meghan,

I have no qualms about the price
Your books are so reasonably priced anyway

I am thrilled for you with the extra promotion that this Amazon deal gives you

I hope that you get a tonne of new readers who fall in love with the Adept world

  3. You are my favorite author and you don’t need my approval to grow your business anyway you like I’m in New Zealand but have already bought or pre-ordered everything your write. I am happy to pay full price because I love your books so much.

  4. I buy on Kobo and don’t care about the price. I would pay double for any of your books. Keep up the good writing and I will keep buying. Thank you

  5. More of the same from me. I love all that you do & I don’t mind paying the price for your good, hard work, whenever it becomes available, wherever that happens to be.

  6. Love, Love, Love your talent. I’ve been a fan since you first began!!! Thank you for sharing your talent and the Adept world! <3

  7. YOU HAVE READERS BLASTING YOU ABOUT AN AMAZON PRICE???!!! Holy cow Meghan, I’m offended for you. What the heck is wrong with people. Even if you DID set the price on every single retailer and sale out there, it’s your book, you put all the sweat, tears and pain (literally, unfortunately) into creating it. How dare anyone even contemplate making a derogatory comment. Can you ban them?? I sure bloody hope so. Holy cow people piss me off sometimes! Oh, and just to add a nice ending, BEST BOOK so far and every book you’ve written is a 5 star in my humble opinion. I’m a big fan and I don’t fan on anybody except maybe former president Obama, the Pope and the Dali Lama. Ok, maybe I’d fangirl a little for Elton John too, LOL Clearly I like smart, talented people, ;o)

    1. Some readers are sensitive when they can’t get certain books on their platform of choice. And I believe that is mostly because some authors sell better when they list their books as exclusive to Amazon (Kindle Unlimited) – that’s a business/career choice for them as well – and that triggers readers when they are confronted with other restrictions (either retailer, price, or country). Same goes for giveaways.

  8. I buy all my Books on my Nook and will pay the normal price to insure you can keep writing. I know this is you job and I an glad to pay the normal price for you to continue the stories. But yes I do love a good deal if I can find it if I have not bought a book already.
