The final proofing pass of Time Walker

See this? That’s 274 pages (1.5 inches) of Time Walker printed and ready for my final proofing pass. I so hate wasting the paper, but I do find I discover more typos and punctuation glitches if my last pass is done on a printed manuscript.

Will I find all the typos that the proof readers missed? No way in hell. (grumble grumble). And cross my fingers you won’t see them either when you get your hands on your ebook copy later this week!!

Sample chapter reveal tomorrow!!

Around The Web: After The Virus, etc.

Oops, this was supposed to go live yesterday!!

Instead of doing individual posts, I’ve decided to do a link round up every Wednesday (if I have collected enough links to warrant a round up!!) So, since I last posted about my novel, After The Virus, (buy and sample links found on the right hand side bar) here is what has happened around the web!

Other links of interest:
  • Want to know all about ISBN’s? Author Michelle Demers has written a 6 part series for self-publishers on this very topic. Here’s PART ONE.
  • Ever wonder what it would be like to be a female detective in a small town? Well, Suzie Ivy is the Bad Luck Detective and she blogs about her crazy (and funny) experiences. I’ve got her on RSS and am loving her posts.

What a lovely fall we are having…

It is pissing rain Vancouver. PISSING. I can feel my autumn instincts trying to kick in. Suddenly, I crave hot chocolate paired with a good book, or to bake dinner rolls or corn bread or at least a bunch of cookies, with spaghetti or maybe chili for dinner… then knitting a blanket or sweater in front of the TV afterwards.

Except the TV currently sucks and I’ve barely managed to harvest anything out of the garden! WTF?

I guess we are just skipping spring and summer this year, hey Vancouver?
