PRETTY! I want Apple Trees – badly! Maybe next year. . . Is this an heirloom, or something more modern?
This one came with the rental house Leiah, so old. In fact, we’ve never been able to figure out what type it is (yet). We’ve been trying to rehab it for four years now. I’m thinking this year it might bear better and we’ll be able to figure out what kind of apple it is!! I also want to plant more of my own though … rubinette is my favour apple , followed closely by golden gala.
Have you tried …I think it’s called crisp red. Crisp something. I got them through Walmart and I have never eaten a sweeter apple! I want to try planting one. P.S. love your “dowsing series.
I haven’t tried those. My favourite apples right now are Golden Galas (which weren’t available to buy as trees until last year) and Rubinette (which I’ve only ever found at the UBC Apple festival). I’d like to grow both kinds when we finally settle down and buy our own place. So glad you like the Dowser!!
