Dowser Series: recipe card giveaway

CONTEST CLOSED. WINNER TBA

I had six different recipe cards, all representing a different Dowser book, test baked, proofed, and printed for The Bookcon 2016. Then I shipped a bunch back from Chicago for giveaways and such. They showed up today.

I’ll probably be doing random flash giveaways with the postcards over the next few months on this blog, twitter, and Facebook but I’ll hold this one open for 36 hours so everyone gets a chance to win right away.

  1. Mmmmmm…. Lift in a Cup because a fluffy white cake and an energetic icing sounds like the perfect thing to get me out of this “Second Monday” funk that I’m in.

  2. I have made Sass in a Cup, Buzz in a Cup, and Lust in a Cup. I look forward to making Cozy in a Cup Next

  3. What a pleasure it is to read your books! So many senses are involved!!! Cozy first, then Lust in a Cup, then perhaps Buzz. Ummmm……maybe a half dozen of each to sample with friends to make sure I pick my favorite!

  4. Cozy In A Cup is my first choice, although Sass is a close second.. Coffee and Mocha are not a favorite of mine but I’m sure they blend together beautifully in these recipes..

  5. I’m honestly interested in baking them all!! I love to bake!! Lust in a cup sounds really amazing!

  6. I have tried my hand at Lust in a Cup (and it was delicious) so I think Buzz in a Cup is what I most look forward to. I’ve never had a mocha cupcake before. Enticing 😀

  7. Buzz in a Cup is my all time favorite. This last time I used Kahlua in the icing instead of the vanilla it calls for. Extra buzz for you! Of course do not add the Kahlua if you have children under the age of 21. That would be wrong.

  8. Sunshine in a cup so I make it with my niece she is pure sunshine. In truth it’s her nickname.

  9. I can’t wait to try Lift in a Cup! They all sound sinfully delicious, but this week I’m craving a lift. 😉

  10. Sass, because I love chocolate and blackberries but not coffee. I’ve probably made “lust in a cup” 20 times because it is so good.

  11. I say Sass or Buzz. But my daughter is all about the Sunshine!!! Looking forward to receiving it/them!

  12. That’s a tough one . . . I think Lust in a Cup would be the first one I would make. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them! Sometimes I wonder what I would pick I’d I visited Cake in a Cup but them I remember its not real lol

  13. Difficult to choose but I’m going with Sunshine in a Cup. I’ve made them before and they were yummy…but after that Buzz in a Cup and then Lust in a Cup!

  14. Ooh, I’d have to start with Lust in a Cup. Nothing like some good old fashioned lust once in a while. 🙂 Chocolate (good chocolate, anyway) makes me weak in the knees.

  15. I’ve already made Lust in a cup and it was very well received by all fortunate enough to get one. I think either cozy in a cup or Sass in a cup. everyone needs a little SASS once in awhile!

  16. I can’t wait to bake sunshine in a cup, it makes me think happy thoughts , seems like it would brighten any day. But I’d love to bake sass in a cup, i have a friend who totally fits that description and i think she’s enjoy it.

  17. Oooh! Hard choice, I’m a cake lover,
sunshine in a cup I’m going for, as I type it, it makes my mouth water at the thought of the zingy lemon on my tongue, and I think we all need abit of sunshine in our life .

  18. I am most excited about Lust in a Cup or Sass in a Cup. I have made Buzz in a Cup a couple times, and they are amazing and a big hit.

  19. I love coffee flavored things, so I think I’d try the Buzz in a Cup first. Followed shortly by ALL of them!

  20. The way the cupcakes are described makes it so hard to decide. I love chocolate but the other recepies talk to me also. But, I would choose Lust In A Cup . How could you go wrong with that. Eileen Lilley Broas. eelilley@rocketmail.com

  21. I am going to try Buzz in a Cup. I’m thing of tweaking it a bit with some cinnamon. I love cinnamon in my coffee!!

  22. I read the new Cupcakes and Dragons way too fast–couldn’t put it down! A good story needs to be savoured like Jade savours her chocolate.

  23. I have been waiting for recipes to come out. I think Lust in Cup would be the first one I would try. But if I’m honest? I would bake all of them!

  24. I have lusted after Lust in a Cup since reading about it the first time! I may just have to dig up the link to the recipes you mentioned, though the pretty cards would be a bonus!
