It might not look like it …

… but I’m working through the editor’s (aka SFG’s) story notes for Dowser 8 today.

I’m three-quarters of the way through knitting armwarmers in Gauge Dye Works’ self-striping merino twist yarn in the Sweet Baby James colourway. If knitting updates interest you, I usually post more on my Instagram page.

Yep, this is what brainstorming a ‘missing’ scene looked like earlier this afternoon.

I’ve also spent the day trying to convince myself that I have absolutely no need for a new iPad, even if I would totally have fun writing with the pencil.

And .. that’s editing in a nut shell. For this book, at least.

  1. Hi Meghan, if you really are thinking about a new iPad, have you seen THIS?? It’s called ReMarkable (https://www.pinterest.ca/offsite/?token=372-295&url=https%3A%2F%2Fremarkable.com%2F&pin=282389839119349842&client_tracking_params=CwABAAAADDM0MzQyMzgwMTI3OQA~0) IT’s so cool! I totally get if you want an iPad as I’m a Mac girl too and syncing would be great, but I wonder if this might function beautifully too and to have a tablet that felt and acted like PAPER would be so kinda awesome. I’m an artist and so darn interested in trying to draw with this wonderbunny. Thought you might be interested. So great we finally have some spring ’round Nanaimo, FINALLY.

    1. Yes! I’ve seen that as well. Very cool. I already have an iPad that I do use a lot. Upgrading would simply be for the pencil. And yeah, I have a thing for Apple products. The weather is still cool in the mornings around here but getting better!!
