  1. I’m in love with self striping socks right now (so that’s what I would knit). And I ADORE that colorway!!

  2. Oooo, I’ve been following mudpunch on Instagram, love her yarns!! I would definitely knit socks or a cowl!

  3. I crochet! My son just saw this and is drilling over the skein so I’d probably make him a hat 😂 (he wears a slouchy hat everywhere. EVERYWHERE.)

  4. I have a pattern for wrist warmers that I’m just waiting to try. I crochet not knit (I need someone to teach me knitting! )

  5. I am a novice knitter who tries and gives up, tries and gives up! Would love to grab this yarn and give it another try. No idea what I’d make but I know the knitting people at my school are ready to help once we finally return!

  6. Reading is my first love and I so enjoy how your books engage me and take me along!I use a loom and crochet, I have not knit since I was a lil kid at my Grams house! Would be nice to try it again! I have a passion for yarns and the textures and color!

  7. I would knit a tank top! I’ve seen a lot of interesting patterns on Pinterest. I like everything hippy-dippy, and to me, a lacy knit (or crocheted) tank top is the epitome of hippy!

  8. One skein of self striping yarn is perfect for a crochet beanie. The All Grown Up Striped Slouch beanie is a favourite to whip up. Oh, and the book would be okay too I guess. 😉📚🐢

  9. I will add it to my queue of socks. I have really been enjoying wearing my hands knit socks while working from home. I love self-striping yarn and will have to look into Mudpunch+

  13. Love the sketches. I would love to make slouch hat out of the self striping wool. I would wear it work to show it off.My job also has community page to share our achievements and projects which in turn can be viewed by sites in other countries.

  15. I love all of your books but especially The Misfits with Mory and her turtle, Ed.

I’d like to make a sock monkey from Mory’s sock yarn. I’ve made several and the self-striping makes awesome patterns. I would love to have one so connected to your world.

  16. I haven’t matters knitting with needless but I’d love to knit an endless scarf on a loom, or crochet one. The yard is beautiful!

  17. I just knitted my first non wear able! I made a foot stool!!! And then realized I needed heavier duty cord to cinch it..which was a bummer. But with pretty yarn like this I would need to make some socks, or fingerless gloves (which is currently the only wearable I’ve made). Its so pretty 😍

  18. OMG!!! This yarn is gorgeous!!! I crochet so I am thinking an amazing “slouch” beanie, or used for some of my donations for Camp River Run (for Medically Fragile kids) for a beanie, and slipper/booties. <3 and thank you so much for the amazing set of characters you have created. I look forward to snagging the next "installment" wherever it may go…….

  19. I want to try to knit something that I haven’t done before, like a pair of socks or a shawl.

  20. This yarn is gorgeous. Maybe a shawl, it really depends on how much yarn there is in the skein. Something shawlesque anyway. I’m two thirds of the way through a scarf, and I’ll lock in my next project when I finish.

  21. What beautiful yarn, I’m useless at knitting, crochet on the other hand I’m good at. Thank you for the give away 🙂

  22. Well sadly I’m not a knitter, but I do love to crochet! I think there is enough in this skein to possibly crochet a smallish scarf and hat combo or my dragon gloves and if I did my dragon gloves omg the coloring would be gorgeous! Thank you for a change once again😁😍💖

  23. The yarn will go to my daughter who does knit as a gift. She loves yarn and her pile of tbk, to be knitted, needs this.

  24. Hello! That yarn would be perfect to make my son a hat. Every time I knit he asks “for Sammy?” He’s 2.5. I have made him a couple but now he always wants one. He’d love the colors in that yarn!

  28. Ooh, well, since I just learned how to knit, I would probably knit a simple scarf or cowl. That yarn is gorgeous!

  29. I’d teach myself to knit a cozy wrap. Imagine I’d need to source more yarn, but if I can teach myself ukelele, I can teach myself to knit more than a scarf!

I would knit some socks for myself and my daughter to match ☺️

  42. I’m in the process of learning to knit, I’d like to knit something for my granddaughter who will be arriving in early Augus . Maybe matching caps for her and her big brother.

  43. Depending on how long the color changes are, I would try an entrelac hat or a simple beret to show off the colors.

  44. OMG! A chance to win and knit some hand warmers? I’m in! When Mory mentioned that color I immediately started my online search hoping I could buy some Mudpunch Goth Rainbow for myself, but it appears to be sold out. What an opportunity! MCD, you are so generous, thank you!

  45. I have been knitting and crocheting since I have been 6 years old.. So 46 years … wow i am really telling my age..lol I have read and love all your book … As for what I would make my granddaughters love socks so a matching pair for them ..

  52. I love the yarn! I would use it to knit toeless pedicure socks. They’re great for getting you toes done in the winter!

  53. I’m thinking this would be fun yarn for a slipper pattern I’ve been meaning to try. You know, since it is always good to keep
    your feet warm while reading.

  54. Its so pretty I would love to make something fantastic with it but as I am a beginner I would probably make a scarf 🙂

  55. I think maybe fingerless gloves or maybe hat or socks for my granddaughter. Love the colors, your book are all amazing and can’t stop reading always hate when story ends. thank you for you work.

  59. I knit myself a hat last winter that my daughter fell in love with and stole. I would use this yarn to knit myself a new hat, which I will hide from my daughter when I am not wearing it.

  60. In truth, I don’t knit-my husband does!!! And crochets! I would have him make me wrist warmers because they would be beautiful with this yarn and would wonderfully complete a gothic chic outfit! I love seeing peoples faces when I tell them that my husband made something, it blows them away. I guess a lot of guys don’t do this 🙂
