Amplifier 5.5: audiobook now available & giveaway

I’m exceedingly delighted to introduce Siiri Scott as the voice of Samantha (aka Zans aka Tek5) in Recon Mission: Bee (Amplifier 5.5))! Siiri instantly (and seemingly effortlessly?) captured Samantha’s particular combination of sass and neediness, and I’m so glad that she lent her talent to bringing Amplifier 5.5 to audio. I hope you enjoy the listen!

Also, a thank you to Julie at Whole Story Studios, who matched Siiri to Amplifier 5.5 (and me!), then produced and engineered a stellar audiobook. Not only did Julie make my workload exceptionally lighter, but she produces gorgeous audiobooks. [Side note: Tia Rider, who narrates the Amplifier Series, also works with Julie!] Spoiler alert! Julie and I have two more major audiobook projects in the works for 2023!!

  1. I am currently on Mystics and Mental Blocks and I’m loving it! I also love the Oracle series on audiobook!

  2. I love the Oracle books and the Black Hat Bureau books. I’m currently listening to A Deadly Education and really like the narrator’s voice!

  3. I loved the audio books of the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini. I also really enjoyed The Lightning Struck Heart by TJ Klune. So good!

  4. The Harry Potter series read by Stephen Fry. He is amazing! And then there are your books, which I have heard and reheard multiple times. Neil Gaiman’s latest Sandman collection is pretty darned good too.

  5. Im new to the audiobook world. I did listen to Stephen Kings – Eye of the Dragon that was read by Bronson Pinchot & he did an amazing job! Loved it.

  6. Not entirely an audiobook but I love Douglas Adams’ Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy- technically a radio show that got adapted into a book, but I feel it counts.

  7. First I love all your books as audio books and have listened several times. All time favs include Harry Potter and Fred the vampire Accountant.

  8. Audiobooks have been how I read lately. The most recent series I’ve listened to was the Adam Binder series by David R. Slayton. I love the titles: White Trash Warlock, Trailer Park Trickster, and Deadbeat Druid. I’ve really enjoyed these books!

That said, I love listening to the Oracle books, too! Currently listening to Amplifier 5… but 5.5 is next! 🤞

  9. Currently listening to the dowser series again (I am on book 6 and am eagerly awaiting the new versions with all of the other books). If we are talking other authors though, maria v snyders audiobooks are great as are Michelle Pavers chronicals of ancient darkness (read by Ian McKellen who does a fantastic job).

  10. I love all of the Cupcakes book series and spin offs of yours, but I also love Robert Galbraith Cormoran Strike series, Sabaa Tahir Ember in the Ashes series and Steig Larson The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series.

  11. The Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer is my favorite audiobook, I think. She narrates it herself, including performing some of her songs, and her vibrant presence rings throughout the book. I also really enjoyed the Illuminae series audiobooks. They have a full cast, and the way the story is put together is just so unique and amazingly well done. The disparate file scraps are woven together into a holistic story, and an interesting, unpredictable one to boot. I think those are the two that come to mind first for me.

  12. I am a very eclectic reader so its hard to list a favorite audiobook but I love all the Dowser series as I am an avid baker and chocolate lover and they all make me laugh

  13. I have not had much experience with audiobooks in the fiction world. I have listened to Alan Carr’s Get out of debt now which was enlightening. I’m getting eye surgery and need some good audiobooks to keep me intrigued while I recover.

  14. Love the Dowser series most but that’s because it is still my favorite since it introduced me to the series. Then there is Kell…
For mother authors audio books I really enjoy the Heather Graham Krewe series audio actor. Also Portia MacIntosh uses a great narrator.
