June 17, 9:01pm PT/June 1812:01 ET – Anniversary bundle releases (via BookFunnel)(Kickstarter only).
8 am PT – Dowser 1 Anniversary Giveaway goes live here http://www.madebymeghan.ca – you’ll need to drop a favourite quote from the Dowser Series in the comments to enter to win.
Giveaway: one-of-a-kind proof copy Dowser 1 paperback, travel mug (with old book cover), I Do Bite T-shirt (size: XXL Women’s).
11 am PT – Hot Chocolate with MCD: Live on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/MeghanCianaDoidge). MCD will read from Dowser 1 and answer reader questions and/or just chat with readers.
Giveaway: 2 sets of nine Dowser Series recipe cards and a bookplate, plus 10 single recipe cards and a bookplate. These are the last recipe cards in existence! 😂 Post pictures of your hot/cold ‘coffee break’ drink to enter the giveaways.
1 – 2 pm PT – Dowser Series Paperback Giveaway (on Facebook). The giveaway and the rules will be posted earlier in the day, but – short version – for one hour (only) MCD will give away Dowser series paperbacks – with the new anniversary covers – via Amazon wish lists.
To enter, you place the Dowser series paperbacks you want on your Amazon wish list, then drop a link to that wish list in the comments on the Facebook post. MCD will contact you for your address and also send you a recipe postcard and autographed bookplate.
Note: Only Dowser 1 – 7 have the new covers (Sorry! We got behind!).
Open internationally. Giving away a minimum of 12 paperbacks.
3:30 pm PT – Flash your Cupcakes: Live on Facebook. MCD will read from Dowser 9.5, and answer questions about the NEW novella. This will be spoiler ridden!

To enter, you place the Dowser series t-shirts you want on your Amazon wish list (including size, etc), then drop a link to your wish list in the comments. NonUK or USA residents that enter will ‘win’ logos as the T-shirts don’t ship to other countries. A few readers have mentioned issues with adding size/colour/type of T-shirt to their wishlists. It works for me, so I’m not sure why some readers are having trouble. If you are having issues, simply add the type/size/colour you want to your comment along with your wish list link.

Kickstarter backers: Please note: I still haven’t heard from everyone I’ve messaged and/or emailed about their private relay email addresses. If you are one of those backers, you not only have missed out on the stretch goal audiobooks (Tier 2 and up) but you WILL NOT receive Dowser 9.5 on June 18. And there is absolutely nothing I can do about it above and beyond begging you to contact me, as I have done on repeat for months.

So excited to have the dowser back for a moment. I finally created a bookfunnel log in. I was one of those who missed out on this until now. Hehe.
What I didn’t get properly: do I have to do anything else unless creating the account using the Kickstarter email address?

You don’t have to do anything else! The book will just appear in your BookFunnel inbox when it’s available. 🙂 so, for example, with the audiobook stretch goals some readers signed in and just found the books waiting there for them.
It just really drove home for me how many books you’ve given us in 10 years!

Okay. I love this quote but I’m not sure why you put it here? This isn’t a giveaway post. And even if it was a Dowser Series giveaway post, and Amplifier series quote wouldn’t fit the entry requirements. Right?

Apologies for my ineptitude here, I contributed a small amount, level 1 tier, and have not personally heard about the process of receiving the reward. I blame myself, as I just looked at my book funnel page and it has a weird email:
gusher_plea.0m@icloud.com, one generated by my iPad I think. My regular one is below. If this is too late, I am sad to miss out on dowser 9.5, but will get it eventually. I get and read your regular blogs, and have just been engrossed in the worlds in all your books, I have them all! Being a bit older, I’ll blame a lack of expertise in this type of thing! SO excited! I just recently listened to the three Dowser audio books – YAY, they were so good! Then, (of course) I had to read the rest of them! Can’t wait until the 18th…and for the rest of the series to come out through Book Funnel – I’ll be buying ALL of them! This is my favorite series of all time, and it’s so nice to go back and read again and again. I never get tired of it!

There are many ways to contact me through Kickstarter (send a dk or comment on an update) but also if your email address is the same as the email address on your Kickstarter account/pledge then you shouldn’t have any issue getting Dowser 9.5 delivered to your BookFunnel inbox on June 18. If you aren’t getting updates via Kickstarter, please check your junk/spam/promo folders. I cannot fix that sort of thing in my part. You can also log into Kickstarter and check for updates via your profile page. 🙂

Im so excited… I’m going to try to distract my husband (on Father’s Day) so he doesn’t notice me going back to my phone… lol!
Also, I wanted to make you aware of an issue I am running into. I noticed that when I go to add the shirt to the wishlist, it doesn’t save my preferred style, color or size on Amazon wishlist (it automatically puts women 3xl purple for some weird reason). Hopefully it’s just me, but I tried with multiple dowser shirts and they all said the same things. Just thought I should let you know here.
You are the second person to mention that! For some reason it does work when I add a T-shirt to my wish list so not everyone is having that issue. Do make sure that the small print (at the bottom) doesn’t actually say the correct info. I know the photo doesn’t change (but the small print at the bottom does). What I’ll do is ask anyone who is having issues to also note what colour, etc, they want right on the giveaway post (when you share the link to to your Amazon wishlist). Hopefully that keeps it all as smooth as possible.
It did that for me as well. I just put my actual size and color in the shirts comment box
