Not so randomly on a Sunday …

I’m working today, even though is a perfect overcast day and I’d love to be curled up on the couch with a book, because MailChimp suspended my newsletter account on Thursday. Their ‘bot’ flagged my newsletter with the new slightly NSFW Conduit Series art that I’ve been teasing for way too long. Though that’s just me guessing as to the bot’s ‘motivations’, because I have yet to hear back from an actual person as to why. Apparently, even after me paying monthly for their service since 2015 – up to $230/month for the last few years – they’ve shut my account right down. Sigh.

I gave MailChimp about 36 hours to get back to me, and now I’m rebuilding everything (my sign-up form, all my automations when a reader subscribes, etc) over on FloDesk. It’s a crazy amount of work when all I want to be doing in writing new words, hence taking a chunk of my weekend to get it set up (hopefully).

I’ll post the Conduit art here on the blog instead. I’ll get that scheduled for Monday or Tuesday as soon as I get this post written. But just a head’s up that, if you’re subscribed to my newsletter, there might be some tiny bumps with delivery, etc, moving forward for a little bit.

Other than that annoyance on this lovely Sunday, I got both my walk and Pilates in this morning, we’re rewatching The Gentlemen on Netflix before the new season drops next Thursday, and it’s laundry day so I will have fresh clean sheets to luxuriate in tonight! I also have an excuse to buy some yarn, because there is a new baby in my extended-extended friends/family (not sure if it’s ‘public’, so no names) and I love knitting little colourwork sweaters.

All the lovely little things do really need to outweigh all the odd/shitty things happening right now. For all of us!

Currently reading: I have a bunch of books (really too many to admit to) waiting patiently on my TBR – I maintain that buying books is a separate hobby from reading them – but I’m really looking forward to Ignite the Infernos (Secret of the Syphon Book 2) by Ivy Asher and The Emperor’s Enemy (Unsurvivable Love Duet Book 1) by Jasmine Mas releasing this week and next.

In other even sweeter news, it’s Molly Millions’ 5th birthday today! Where all the years have gone, I don’t know. But here are some pictures to hopefully brighten your day!
