Having done a pass on the first three chapters that I wrote year ago, I’m working through the outline/structure for Misfits 2 today, including building the book-specific character bible, etc. And I decided that I need a (‘neutral party’) sorcerer character for a fairly minor role and thought it would be fun to bring a character ‘back’.
So I started digging through the master Adept universe bible to find a suitable candidate for this role … and kept digging … and digging … and then noticing an unfortunate trend …
It appears that I have a pretty bad habit of offing all of my sorcerer characters. With a very few notable exceptions (none of whom work for this cameo role).
Is it possible that have a not-so-thinly veiled prejudice against a subset of my own creations? And if yes, that’s just a little weird, right?

Okay … I’m still digging through the bible … I’ll find a sorcerer! Or I’ll make one up, then try not to off them in this book. Try. Try real hard. 😂
Tomorrow I’ll re-read all three of Kandy’s shorter stories and see if I’ve missed any juicy callbacks from those.
