GIVEAWAY CLOSED. WINNER AMANDA FROM OKLAHOMA, LUCKY #7
To recap a fourth time. I had fifteen misprinted paperbacks. The covers of the paperbacks were all oddly tinted to various degrees with pink and red. And, in a few, the top and bottom margins shift down or up around the halfway point. Since I’m a fan of decluttering, I thought I should give these ‘rarities’ away.
I given away fourteen so far.
I’ll autograph and label the book as a misprint. I’ll even throw in an I See Me postcard and some butterfly tattoos.
Would you like a chance to own this misprinted, but still pretty, Treasures, Demons, and Other Black Magic (Dowser 3) paperback?
You would?
Then #1. Comment on this blog post with your favourite quote from Treasures, Demons, and Other Black Magic (Dowser 3).
And #2. Tell me why it’s your favourite quote.
Remembering #3. To include your email address in the comment form so I can contact you.
OPEN INTERNATIONALLY. Giveaway closes 9 a.m. PDT Saturday, April 25, 2015. Each entry will be assigned a number, and the winner will be selected by random number generator.
May the random number generator be in your favour!
Reblogged this on TRISH MARIE DAWSON.
Thanks, Trish. 💗 This one is harder to win for new readers, because I’m asking for a quote as entry. But I do lots of giveaway that don’t have any entry requirement.
“It was fun rescuing you, Mory,” Drake called over his shoulder.
kids, it’s all fun and games when you are practically imortal lol
Entry #1 – Drake! Yes, I love writing him. He makes an appearance in Dowser 5 as well. 😃
“I’m thinking of calling it Unity in a Cup.”
“Screw that,” Kandy said, her mouth full. “Its a freaking or gas in a freaking cup.”
I laughed and took another bite, closing my eyes to savor this one. “Its like you and Kent had babies,” I said, my mouth fill of insanely good goodness that tasted almost exactly like Kandy’s and Kett’s magic combined… except sweeter.
“That’s disgusting,” Kandy sneered. Then she lifted her plate and locked it clean… literally.
I love this because it’s 100% Kandy. And it made me laugh out loud. It also shows how completely different they both reacted to what happened at the beach.
Or my stupid phone can auto correct 😬
“Screw that,” Kandy said, her mouth full. “It’s a freaking orgasm in a freaking cup.”
Sorry!
Entry #2 – Kandy! LOL I loved this ending for the first trilogy. 😀
“Let me in, little witch,” he murmured. ” I like the pants.”
Love love love the flirting between Jade and Desmond
Entry #3 – they do have their moments <3
“Surrounded by the delicious smells of chocolate, vanilla, and spices, I just breathed for a moment, willing everything to be okay.”
This is why I bake to relax- the scent calms me down.
Entry #4 – me too!!
I only just finished reading Cupcakes, Trinkets, and Other Deadly Magic. I need more time!!! 🙂
No worries! I do giveaways fairly frequently 🙂 This last round was heavily weighted to readers who were fairly versed in the series. Sort of like a thank you for all their support. But most of the time anyone can enter 🙂 no answer to a skill testing question needed.
I love the part where Bixi causes Desmond’s transformation and then pats him on the head like a kittycat.
Entry #5 – 🙂
I have to tell you, having Dowser #1 as a free book was a really great idea. We got it when B & N featured it as the Friday free book and I read it in a day. And then promptly purchased #2-4 and Oracle 1. You are a very smart lady! 🙂
The perma-free has definitely kick sales into gear, a solid loss leader, for sure. I was so, so excited when B&N featured Dowser 1 (a lovely reader tagged me when she saw it) because my sales had been slower there (compared to Amazon) and it was almost like an opening to an entirely new market.
I’d seen the perma-free technique work for a bunch of authors in my writers’ group, so I (nervously) jumped onboard to try it out and I’m so glad I did.
I love sample pages myself. I always sample everything new I come across and I think the perma-free is a great sample right now. I’ll eventually move it back to paid at some point but not any time soon.
So glad you found me!!
“It was a lovely evening for a walk, except for the hunting and potentially slaughtering my sister part.”
I just really love the overt juxtaposition of normal with the paranormal world that Jade occupies. The turn of the phrase captures the right feeling and speaks volumes to me.
Entry #6 – poor Jade 😏 I’m so mean to her. But yes, I adore writing in such a heightened reality.
“Forget the cheese plate, but I’ll have the melon créme brûlée, all six flavors of ice cream, the coffee ice cream sundae …”— I ran my finger down the dessert list just to make myself clear —“… forget the fruit, definitely the white chocolate parfait, and the baked cheesecake with the raspberry coulis.”
It made me hungry and laugh at the same time. Especially the no fruit part. The only healthy thing. Ahaha. I died.
Entry #7 – I’ve always wanted to order every dessert on the menu 😀
“Hey,” Kandy said. “Aren’t I supposed to get chocolate if you’re going to force girly talk on me?”
“I’ll buy,” I answered, crossing my heart with my index finger. “Your choice, ASAP.”
“I’ll use my Google-fu while you compare lists with the vampire and find another sorcerer for us to freak out.”
I laughed. “Good plan.”
I love the relationship these two share!! Also Google-fu is amazing! 😀
Entry #8 – just under the wire! I adore Kandy as well. 💕
“Let me in little witch”
Anything that Desmond says literally. But I love when he flirts♡♡♡
I love Desmond and his quick smart comments .
Hi Sherry, this giveaway has been closed for over a week, sorry! But I’m sure there will be more chances to win soon.
