So let’s have a postcard and tattoo giveaway!

February 20, 2016

I’ve had a rough week. Something nasty escalated within a group I was highly invested in while I was happy working away on the second draft of Dowser 6. And when I discovered it, I was seriously blindsided. So much so that – I’m almost ashamed to admit – I spent a couple days in tears and NOT WRITING.

Of course, tears always lead to numbness then to anger for me. So now I’m peeved to have been sidetracked from a WIP that was giving me so much joy.

Thankfully my sweetheart, Michael, dug around in storage and found my Oracle tattoos! Some of you had been asking about how to get your hands on the butterflies, and you know nothing perks me up like a giveaway … so how about it?

Yes, I’m shamelessly asking you to make me feel better by completely distracting me, and doing a mini media blitz for the Oracle series at the same time. Completely shameless.

To enter: For the next 36 or so hours … so until Sunday at 8pm PST … do one or more of the following:

  1. drop a link to an HONEST review here in the comments – from Amazon or Goodreads or wherever you reviewed either book 1 or 2. Doesn’t matter what star rating you gave it. All reviews are appreciated. Then email me your mailing address at info [at] [mention what name you commented under please].
  2. Or tweet a link to your HONEST review OR write up a mini tweet review, making sure to tag me @mcdoidge and #oracleseries. Then email me your mailing address at info [at] [mentioning what name you tweet under please.]
  3. Or share your HONEST review on Facebook – either on your personal page or on my Facebook page. Tag me if you can (sometime this doesn’t work: Meghan Ciana Doidge) and add the hashtag #oracleseries. Then email me your mailing address at info [at] [mention what name you posted under please].
  4. Blog your HONEST review and email me/tweet/Facebook the link so I see it and share it [this applies to older or newer blog posts]. Then email me your mailing address at info [at]
  5. You decide. Do you Instagram? Pinterest? Would you prefer to share a meme or book cover or artwork or favourite quote along with your HONEST review or mini review? Share something Oracle related, tag me somehow, and include #oracleseries if appropriate. Then email me your mailing address at info [at] and link me to whatever you shared. 🙂

Okay, I just typed that all up and I think I might be crazy … I’m definitely going to need some more stamps. LOL

What do you think? Want a postcard and some tattoos?

Notes/Rules: OPEN INTERNATIONALLY. Follow the entry requirements listed above and everyone is a winner. 😀 Reviews do not have to be new. If you reviewed either book months ago that counts, just share it and link me please.

If you haven’t commented on the blog before, or you comment from a different IP address, the comments are moderated. So don’t worry if you don’t see your entry right away.

Contest closes SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2016 at 8 p.m. PST.

I haven’t read your books yet … but they are on my TBR (so many books and not enough money … doesn’t seem fair! LOL)
I look forward to reading and leaving a review in the future =)

Hi Lisa! Thanks for dropping by. 🙂 The ebook for Dowser 1 is permafree right now on all retailers. But yes, my book habit is rather expensive too … or rather I have to stop myself from buying too many EACH month. Oh! My ebooks are also available free to libraries, so your library might have them or be able to get them.

This is a review I did awhile ago for Oracle 2.
This is a very good review from me for the fantasy genre. I never review anything I didn’t like because I don’t want to hurt someone’s chance to build their business. Not everyone has the same tastes. I really loved this book.

Thanks Pam!! Send/message me your address if you’d like some tattoos. 🙂

I really need to review the rest of the books too because they are simply stunning, but here’s the review I have done, though I know you already saw it 🙂 You are one of my favorite authors.

I hope whatever happened doesn’t get to you too much, because you are an amazing writer, and from all I can tell, an amazing human as well.

Yes! I adored your review. No worries about reviewing the rest of the books, though it is always appreciated by all authors. I think I’m moving beyond the bother of last week – thanks partly to you!!

I have been hooked on this series since I read the first book “Cupcakes, Trinkets and other Deadly Magic”. I love reading books with shifters, dragons and magic as well as eating chocolate and cupcakes! Meghan has created a story that keeps you reading til late at night because you just can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen next. I can’t wait for Dowser 6!
