Knitting while married

Me: The class schedule for Knit City 2018 is out. It looks like they have some great instructors!

Michael: Do you get to fan girl? *teasingly* Oooh, is Andrea Mowry going to be there?

Me: *narrows eyes at Michael**then, scanning further down the list, discovers that Andrea IS going to be teaching**gushing ensues*

Ahem.

And there is a lesson on how to know you might talk about knitting, and one knitting designer in particular, a little too much. 🤣

Your knitting is gorgeous! I desperately want to knit a Find Your Fade; however I want to finish my WIP’s. I keep getting distracted by others asking me to knit for them when this was supposed to be the year of me 🙂

I’m a big fan of the Find Your Fade pattern. I suspect I will knit a third one sooner than later. 🙂 And yeah, I rarely knit for anyone else these days. Just the occasional gift for my niece. Though I do give away knits that I had intended to wear myself. Ha.

I was working for the Buffalo Wool folks at Stitches Midwest last year. We started talking about double knitting – which I have never done, but have plans to (soon!) – and I mentioned a Ravelry designer whose work is AMAZING (Tania Richter). And there she was! Talking to them about a possible collaboration. OMG. I’m not usually one to gush, but I did. I was a quivering mess. 😋🤣

Now I think I have to go cast on a new project.

Wow! Very beautiful stuff..I miss weaving on my loom so much….Old military injuries have kept me sidelined + being rearended by a….person…I wonder if I could handle knitting?
Anywho, thanks for sharing <3
