Sorry no newsletter today, and no Misfit 2 excerpt. I’ve pushed hard on writing new words this week, so little else has been done.
And now I’m calling it.
Conduit 4. First Draft. 80, 034 words. Done!! ✅
I have no idea – other than my pain has been ‘a lot’ this year – why I had such trouble getting the final book of the Conduit Series out of my head. It’s a terrible mess. It’s missing its final pivotal scene. It might need an epilogue (I hope not). The editor is going to have A LOT to say. 😭😂😭 But I’m calling it a first draft, taking three days off in Vancouver, and then starting the second draft (aka my favourite draft) from the top on Monday morning!
I’ll drop the monthly newsletter goodies in your inboxes next week (if you sub to my newsletter), and I will resume the excerpts from Misfits 2 as well (yay!)
