Just a drive by blog post as I’m deep in the writing cave (or aerie in my case) and on deadline to get Conduit 4 into the editor for story edit (aka development edit) by October 15. That includes Michael alpha reading for me, which is still totally workable but tight.
Molly is at the vet finally getting those cracked teeth removed. But I still have to wait another hour and 45 minutes to pick her up (the surgery got delayed, apparently) and I’m being a bit of a baby about it.
And reminder! It’s my birthday on October 11, so I’ll post my annual birthday giveaway here on the blog (I’ll also send a newsletter) so as to avoid all the scammers on Facebook, etc. Normally, I schedule separate posts but I don’t want to clog up everyone’s inboxes so I’ll probably put all the books in one post and get you to choose. The main point is: it’s a FLASH giveaway. I wanna send the presents out to everyone else right away so it will only be open for a few hours. Just a head’s up!
Just FYI. The release day for Conduit 4 is looking more like early 2027 (sorry!) but I won’t know until I confirm the editor’s schedule.
I’ll try to post Kandy’s next ‘chapter’ tomorrow afternoon!
Are you new to the Conduit World? The first book is Awry (Conduit 1), then follow the reading order.
