Misfits 2, Chapter 2, Part 3

I did a bunch of research about plug-ins so that I could try to blur some of the excerpt this week, but soon decided that level of ‘tech’ is really way, way over my head (and I don’t want to screw anything up on my website), so I’ve posted Chapter 2, Part 3 in it’s entirety below.

This is a sexy 1800+ word excerpt (if I may so myself), and contains an important element of the plot for Misfits 2 (and Kandy herself) but it is very much Not Safe For Work (NSFW).

You can try to skip the middle part but … you might be slightly confused later on? Remember this is a Kandy book, and all of what that entails.

Enjoy!!

Reminder: typos abound, and possible tense changes. Anything in [parentheses] needs to be fact checked or I’m not happy with the phrasing yet.

Jorgen dropped his duffle bag just inside the bedroom door as I got his dress shirt and pants undone. He tried to fold his suit jacket, but I snatched it from him and tossed it at the antique chair in the corner of the bedroom.

The curtains were open, dim sunlight streaming through the windows. The puffy silk duvet and pile of pillows on the bed — in shades of blue and gray — were pristinely pressed.

Ready to be crushed and crumbled.

My grin sharpened.

Jorgen — my Ulv — laughed huskily, reaching for the buttons of my shirt. I tossed him back on the bed, effortlessly. He landed softly, green glints of his magic in his smiling eyes. A puff of lemon verbana waffled from the silk now crushed under him.

I prowled forward, slowly stalking.

His grin widened, and he stretched back, diagonal across the bed, shoving the pillows off the far side. I tugged off his socks, and then reached for his pants. He raised his hips obligingly. I divested him off his skintight boxers at the same time. Tossing both somewhere in the vicinity of the chair, not taking my eyes off the glorious flesh I was revealing.

My Ulv smelled like airport bathroom soap, hand sanitizer, and a clean musk edged in bitter chocolate. I pressed my face into his groin taking a deep breath. His cock instantly hardened against my cheek, and he groaned. He’d washed up — everywhere. I appreciated the gesture.

He reached for me, but I pushed him back onto the bed, watching his erection lengthen even further as I efficiently removed my suit jacket, pants, and panties. I left on the partially buttoned dress shirt so that we were almost twins.

Fair was fair.

Jorgen smirked, folding his arms behind his head. Displaying miles of long muscled flesh lightly dusted with golden hair down the center of his chest. His thighs were thicker than my waist. His erection continuing to grow under my gaze.

“It’s like that then?” he murmured, dropping his eyes to the trimmed, dark dusting of curls between my own legs.

“Yeah,” I said, climbing over him, and without further preamble I lined his cock up with my entrance and buried him as deeply inside me as I could. “It’s like that.”

He groaned, arching up into me as if I’d hurt him.

I sighed, slowly riding him, slicking his length with my own warm desire. I was still riled up, moments away from exploding. It had been months for me. I hadn’t been with anyone since I’d last seen Jorgen, during my birthday in August. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d gone four full months without a sexual encounter.

I hunched over, fingers splayed across my Ulv’s chest, picking up my pace as pure pleasure stretched and expanded through my loins. I clenched, gathering my pelvic floor, cinching my abs, sharping, honing, concentrating that pleasure.

“Condom,” Jorgen growled, fingers spasming on my hips.

I ignored him, increasing my pace and riding toward the finish line now.

He swore in Norwegian. All the long vowels softened the sentiment, ending in a low moan. “Kandy. Condom.”

“What if we don’t?” I panted, feeling my orgasming rising but holding it at bay.

“Don’t what?” He groaned again. His grip tightened on my hips, but he didn’t try to dislodge me. “We … are … not having a discussion about kids right now.”

“I’m not ovulating.” I had no idea why I was choosing to discuss anything of the sort. Why I wanted to push it right now.

“That’s not how it works,” he growled.

I let go, allowing the orgasm I was holding at bay to sweep through me before I lost it altogether. Convulsing with the unleashed pleasure flooding through my limbs, I fell forward over Jorgen’s chest.

Jorgen took over, angling my hips and helping me ride out the bliss. Then, before I could catch my breath, he flipped me over, pulling out.

I moaned, hating the almost painful feeling of his sudden withdrawal. He stepped to the side of the bed, grabbing condom from the box I shoved into the bedside table when I transferred some of my belongings yesterday. Jorgen leveled a heated gaze on me as he ripped open the foil package and rolled it on over his still hard cock.

I just watched him, splayed across the bed where he’d left me. Despite the abrupt orgasm, desire still had me firmly in its hold.

Jorgen grabbed me behind the back of the knees and pulled me slowly but deliberately toward the edge of the bed.

I remained languid, passive.

He hunched over me, once hand supporting him by my head — too tall to enter me otherwise — and slipped back inside me through my slick wetness.

I moaned, expanding around him.

Holding himself aloft, he kept me pinned to the bed under him. Watching me with his magic dancing in his eyes.

I stayed still, malleable but not participating. Tracking my own heart rate as it settled.

He lowered his head. His expression alert, knowing — hunting for something other than what I was telling him with my body. “It’s like that then?” he asked for the second time.

“Yeah,” I breathed. “It’s like that.” Then I very deliberately raised my chin and turned my head, offering him the long stretch of my neck.

His breath hitched, then he withdrew — almost all the way — and thrust into me with a harsh groan, raking his teeth along my neck. The bed frame protested. He worked his hand under my lower back, levering my hips to meet his next thrust, leaving only my shoulders and my feet on the bed.

I cried out quietly. He was so deep in was almost painful.

He stilled, laying a bruising kiss on me instead. Thrusting with his tongue instead of his cock.

“Don’t stop!” I snarled.

He laughed huskily. Then, raised up over me, he settled into a brutal, pounding pace.

Just before I came a second time, he latched onto my neck again. His teeth sharpened as his wolf came forward for a moment, but the bite didn’t pierce my skin.

I came hard and fast, wrapping arms and legs around him so tightly that he ended up holding me up off the bed as he also orgasmed.

We held in that moment, clutching each other, suspended. I sucked lightly on his shoulder tasting the salty bite of his sweat as he shuddered over and over. Every muscle in his arms, shoulders, and chest taut under my roving hands.

He settled me back on the bed with a satisfied sigh, withdrawing to take care of the condom. I mewed a little, feigning dissatisfaction, and he chuckled quietly. His expression relaxed, thoughtful.

Yeah, I was acting out of character.

I’d bit him, pinned him, plenty of times since we’d started a sexual relationship, but never had him reciprocate, not even when I’d asked to be dominated. Though Jorgen’s dominance play was just that … play.

Which was fine by me. Usually. The only partner I’d never not been wholly dominant to in bed was Dedra.

Jorgen crawled onto the bed with me, stretching out on his side next to me but not touching. I shifted sideways, closer, and he grunted. Again surprised. I rarely invited intimacy after sex. I’d slept in the same bed as him, mostly if we were on vacation, but I didn’t snuggle.

And, for the first time, I wondered why he stayed. Why he put up with me and all my demanding, prickly ways. For the first time the six years we’d known each other intimately, I felt like a controlling asshole with all my walls and rules. Yet Jorgen had never complained.

He settled his hand on my belly, then after a moment of sleepy silence he shifted his hand lower, teasing his fingers through my curls, finding my swollen clit. Clearly thinking that another orgasm was why I was inviting further contact.

Normally he wouldn’t be wrong.

What would it be like to shatter all his perceived assumptions about me? What would it be like to toss aside all my tightly held walls and rules? Was there anything even behind it all? Did I have depths, needs and wants, that I was ignoring?

What was it about seeing Dedra that was making me question anything? I adored my life. I never worried about the future.

Jorgen gently flicked at the still swollen bud at my apex, and my hips convulsed involuntarily.

“You’re tired,” I murmured. I could practically smell it coming off him. He wouldn’t have slept on the plane. A wolf surrounded by strangers never could. Too vulnerable. Even Jorgen who was so civilized I was surprised I’d coaxed any aspect of his wolf forward — specifically the sharpened teeth — even by baring my neck.

“I’m good for a few moments,” he whispered, slipping a second finger into my slippery heat.

I stopped him with a touch on his wrist.

He grunted, understanding. He settled his hand back on my belly.

We … snuggled. There was no other word for it. Silk sheets crumpled under us, curled into each other. Jorgen’s breathing deepening.

“You want me to move to Vancouver then?” he asked sleepily.

I sighed. Apparently, he wasn’t going to ignore the weirdness of me abruptly attempting to have sex with him without a condom. “I know you don’t just want to donate,” I said carefully. My own birth father had been known only to my mother. A lone but powerful wolf, as far as I knew, deliberately selected for breeding purposes. I’m not sure he even knew I was the result. Though he should have scented her ovulation.

“No.” Jorgen’s hand flexed, lips brushing against my neck. Right where he’s bitten me. “I won’t be a sperm donor. But I won’t force the issue either.”

“I know.”

“I like Vancouver,” he said sleepily.

I kissed him, trying to be tender.

“There’s no rush,” he said.

I watched as his eyes closed, his heartbeat slowed, and he fell asleep. Not at all concerned that I was a bigger threaten than any he would have met on an airplane or in the airport. I could tear him limb from limb without effort.

Though doing so might break my own heart.

I supposed I was the last person who should be surprised that I loved him. He’d probably known for … years?

I just had a terrible, sinking feeling that I also still harbored feelings for Dedra.

That those unwanted, unbidden feelings were behind my sudden desire to ride Jorgen to completion with a condom.

Because, if I was looking at my own actions and reactions logically, other than unconditional love — which Dedra wasn’t capable of — a baby and a future with a family were the only things that Dedra couldn’t give me.

I closed my eyes, and allowed the scents of lemon, hand soap, and wolf musk to lull me into a light doze.

I had a hundred things to do, but being in this moment was something to savor. Even I knew that.

The chances of everyone making it through a shapeshifter wedding that no one wanted, as well as negotiations to form a new pack, unscathed, unmangled were ridiculously slim. As in completely improbable.

But I could still take a moment to nap with someone I truly cared about.
